About Us

"To support and empower people with disabilities to have independence,

choice and control in their lives so they can live a life with NO LIMITTS"

No Limitts is a Registered Australian Charity and our purpose is to unite people with disabilities with suitable support staff to assist them in living a limitless, independent life.

No Limitts prides itself on providing an outstanding quality of service.

Focusing on providing the best quality of support, all staff are handpicked for their heart and attitude, flexibility, reliability, and the undeniable passion for helping others in a positive way.

Staff are also selected with our Participants’ goals in mind, with specific skills to help our Participants achieve dreams they were once told they could never accomplish. No Limitts also values the importance of providing support staff with an emotionally supportive environment and excellent work and pay conditions.

We value and appreciate the quality of staff we employ; without whom we would not achieve the results we do.

We strive for a holistic approach and endeavor to make it a harmonious atmosphere for Participants and Staff.

Our Story

A Dream is Born - There is always a beginning to each journey.

No Limitts started with an idea, a dream. It all started with a passionate support worker and two people living with cerebral palsy who wanted to make the world a better place for people with disabilities, having experienced the “Big Provider” mentality for over 15 years, where participants had little choice or freedom when it came to their support, they decided to do something about it and make a positive change.

The NDIS Hills Trial in 2015 made this dream possible, with 2 participants fortunate enough to be in the trial area, their ideas were finally put into action and No Limitts was born! No Limitts has grown in the last 5 years alongside WA’s NDIS journey.

We have experienced the changes in the sector and have adapted along the way, we continue to grow and develop with the purpose of creating an independent support system for our participants.

No Limitts Mission is to continue growing and developing along side the NDIS and the NDIS Quality Safeguard commission.

Our Vision

"Our vision is to change the way people with disabilities live their lives and engage with the community."

  • Care” means being fed, toileted, washed, and dressed. The bare minimum needed for physical survival.

  • “Support” means being in control and deciding what is to be done, by whom, how, where, when the task is to be carried out.

  • “Care” allows us to survive.

  • “Support” enables us to live.

  • “Care” we are seen and made to feel like a passive object.

  • With “Support” we are people who can take our rightful place in family, community, and society.

  • In “Care” we are not allowed to contribute much.

  • With “Support” interests, work, relationships, and parenthood are possible for us depending on our potential and preferences.

  • In “Care” others decide for us.

  • With “Support” we decided.

Meet Dee

Lead Support Coordinator

My name is Dee-Arne and I would like to share a little bit about myself with you and also what brought me into the world of Disability and the NDIS.

During my younger years, I held office jobs and in the years that followed, I settled down and started a family. I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mum raising my three kids. Twenty years flew by and it was time for me to return to the workforce. Being very much a people person, I wanted to find a job that had meaning for and where I was able to interact with people. After some consideration, I enrolled to return to study and I completed a Certificate IV in Community Services gaining my first job as a mentor working with people with disabilities. I was able to work with so many wonderful people and from that experience, I knew that this is where I belonged.

Years of working in different coordinator roles, while rewarding, also led me to become a little disheartened. Due to my role limitations, I was not always able to assist people when they needed  added support in other areas of their lives. When I discovered support coordination I stepped into my element!

I found meaning and purpose in working with people with disabilities and their families. I was inspired to assist them to live their life their way, meeting their needs and watching people find their own meaning and purpose. It brings a big smile to my face when I see a big smile on their face, knowing that I have assisted to make life just that little bit easier.

My kids are all grown up now and I even have a granddaughter, who I absolutely adore. I enjoy walking in nature, from the beach to the bush, which brings me a wonderful sense of peace. I am also a bit of a dance diva. I love to dance to 80’s and 90’s dance music. I find dancing to be so much fun and if there is ever an opportunity to get up and have a dance you will find me up on the dance floor busting some moves. Oh, and we have a gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel at home called Theo. He is hard work sometimes but we love him to bits.

Meet Brendan

Psychosocial Recovery Coach

Hey, I'm Brendan and I’ve been working in the disability sector for four years, supporting participants and helping them tackle mental and physical challenges. I am passionate about mental health and enjoy working toward recovery by breaking down barriers, building on strengths,  guiding and mentoring along the way as we collaboratively come up with solutions.

I’ve done a Certificate IV in Community Services, completed Psychosocial Recovery Coaching training, and am currently studying a Certificate IV in Mental Health. I bring lived experience to my work, which helps me to connect with people. I also pride myself on being an excellent communicator and having  an open-mind.

Outside of work, I’m all about creativity. I play the guitar, make music, create digital art, wood carve, and love diving into a good book or video game. Seeing people grow and achieve their goals is what drives me, and am excited to help others live their best life.
